Nation's Fastest Growing Chain's 46th U.S. Location Sure to Delight Sports Fans of All Ages

December 10, 2008 // Franchising.com // Jasper, IN, — If there's one thing that residents of Dubois County love, it's sports. Thanks to a group of dedicated Little League parents, the sports fans of Jasper and surrounding communities can now enjoy tasty food while watching their favorite teams at Indiana's newest Buffalo Wings & Rings restaurant, located at 1910 Hospitality Drive in Jasper (just north of the new Holiday Inn Express). The 46th U.S. location of the nation's fastest growing restaurant chain will host a private VIP event on Monday, December 15, 2008, followed by the grand opening to the public on Wednesday, December 17, 2008. Co-owners Michael and Gina Weyer, Ann and Michael Bennett, Jill and Dean Schmitt, and Michael Bartley are longtime friends who met while cheering on their kids' Little League All-Star Team.

"Our kids' team made the state championships a few years ago, bringing us to Richmond, Indiana, where we had our first taste of Buffalo Wings & Rings," Michael Weyer said. "The kids and parents wanted to go there every night! We realized that Buffalo Wings & Rings was exactly what Jasper needed."

In July 2008, Buffalo Wings & Rings achieved the top spot on Restaurant Business magazine's annual "The Future 50" list, a ranking of the top 50 fastest-growing restaurant chains in the country. The Jasper location marks the third Buffalo Wings & Rings restaurant in Indiana, and Ann Bennett and Jill Schmidt will bring a combined 35 years of foodservice experience to the venture.

The Buffalo Wings & Rings menu boasts a wide array of fare suited to both adults and kids alike, including traditional and boneless Buffalo-style wings as well as hand-breaded chicken tenders – all fresh and never frozen, and available in eight sauces with five customizable levels of heat. Guests are encouraged to dunk their favorite wings in the Buffalo Wings & Rings homemade bleu cheese dressing. And of course, there's plenty of celery for crunching. Grown-ups will also enjoy massive burgers, crisp salads and authentic charbroiled gyros, while smaller appetites can choose chicken nuggets, mini corn dogs and more from the Lil Buff's menu. Guests can make their meal complete with appetizers, including nachos, chili-drenched sloppy fries, popcorn shrimp, mozzarella sticks and the chain's namesake "Rings" – curly-q fries available with or without Cajun seasoning.

Buffalo Wings & Rings Jasper will employ 80 people and features 17 flat screen televisions inside as well as seating for 170 guests. The outdoor patio offers seating for 40 guests and three big TVs so they don't miss a moment of the action. A state-of-the-art audio system ensures that guests can tune in to the game of their choice from any table in the restaurant. And Buzztime Trivia will provide hours of brain-teasing fun.

The restaurant will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. Catered orders and special event requests are welcome, and online ordering will be available.
