Sonic Revises Date and Time for Release of Results for the First Quarter of 2009 and Its First Quarter Conference Call

OKLAHOMA CITY, Dec 30, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Sonic Corp. (NASDAQ:SONC), the nation's largest chain of drive-in restaurants, today announced that it has revised the date and time for the release of results for the first quarter of fiscal 2009 ended November 30, 2008, and the online Web simulcast of its conference call to Wednesday, January 7, 2009, from Thursday, January 8, 2009, as earlier announced.

The Company will release results for the quarter at the market's close on Wednesday, January 7, 2009. The live broadcast of Sonic's conference call will begin at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time that day. An online replay will be available approximately two hours following the conclusion of the live broadcast and will continue through February 7, 2009.
