Bedford Resident Opens Consulting Business to Help Entrepreneurs Fulfill the Dream of Business Ownership
Bedford, NY (Grassroots Newswire) - The new office of The Entrepreneur's Source in Bedford has one goal -- to make the Entrepreneurial Dream of business ownership easier to attain for aspiring local entrepreneurs.
The Bedford office, owned by Barry Kleiman, is part of an international network of business ownership consultants who work with individuals and companies considering franchising as a career alternative or a method of expansion.
"Today more than ever people want to go into business for themselves; they're just not sure how and where to start," Mr. Kleiman said. "We provide the tools, services and support system they need to become educated about their options. We assist them in defining and clarifying their career dreams and also in finding the vehicle to achieve them."
According to Mr. Kleiman, the average person changes careers four times during his or her lifetime. They are looking for something different and hoping to gain greater control over their lives. But, the prospect of owning a business can be overwhelming, and most people end up abandoning their dream. "By using a business ownership coach they are no longer alone. We serve as the safety net that allows them to explore their options and act on their dreams. Our process allows them to safely let go of the past so they can explore the future" Kleiman said.
Prior to opening the Bedford branch office, Barry Kleiman, a 3-year resident of Bedford worked for 20 years as an Institutional Equity Trader, providing a solid background in business management and development. "This is a great opportunity to expand the number of small business-owners in Westchester and the surrounding areas. The fact that The Entrepreneur's Source is independent, with no exclusive ties to any company or franchise, makes us unique and completely focused on the success of our clients."
"Too many people shortchange themselves and fail to follow their dreams due to misinformation and myths about self-employment. Companies fail to grow and expand because they believe that their only option is to open company-owned locations. The mission of the Entrepreneur's Source is to help people and companies grow through the exploration of Possibilities, Options and Dreams," said Terry Powell, founder and CEO of The Entrepreneur's Source.
Franchising is one option many clients consider, according to Mr. Powell. "Each year more than $800 billion in goods and services are sold through franchises," he said. "In addition, the close relationship and support of the franchisor creates a unique win-win relationship where the franchise owner is in business for himself but not by himself."
With its Support Center located in Southbury, CT, The Entrepreneur's Source is America's leading independent business ownership consulting company with more than 230 offices in the United States and Canada offering a full range of services to individuals interested in self-employment and companies searching for methods of expansion. The goal of the Entrepreneur's Source is to help clients identify business opportunities that best meet their goals, needs and expectations.
Mr. Kleiman has a BS (Psychology) from Tufts University as well as an MBA in Finance & Investments from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College.
