Sonic to Present at Two Upcoming Conferences

Oklahoma City, (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Sonic Corp. (NASDAQ: SONC), the nation's largest chain of drive-in restaurants, today announced that the company will participate in two upcoming investor conferences.

The first is the Goldman Sachs 2009 Lodging, Gaming, Restaurant and Leisure Conference, which takes place in New York City June 1-2. The investor presentation by Sonic's management is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday, June 2.

The second is the William Blair & Co. 29th Annual Growth Stock Conference, which takes place June 9-11 in Chicago. Sonic's presentation is scheduled at 3:20 p.m. Central Time on Wednesday, June 10.

Each presentation will be available to investors via live audio webcasts. Links to the webcasts can be found at the investor section of the company's website, and the events will be available for replay for 30 days using those same links.

Sonic, America's Drive-In, originally started as a hamburger and root beer stand in 1953 in Shawnee, Okla., called Top Hat Drive-In, and then changed its name to Sonic in 1959. The first drive-in to adopt the Sonic name is still serving customers in Stillwater, Okla. Sonic has more than 3,500 drive-ins coast to coast, where more than a million customers eat every day.
