Del Taco's Andy Verostek and Michael Vogel Complete Franchise Professional Certification

Lake Forest, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Del Taco, the nation's No. 2 Mexican quick serve chain, today announced that two of its franchise team members, Andy Verostek and Michael Vogel, have been recognized as Certified Franchise Executives™ by the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives. Verostek and Vogel completed a comprehensive course of study in franchise management offered by the institute, which is the academic branch of the International Franchise Association's Educational Foundation.

A market planning analyst for Del Taco, Andy Verostek, CFE joined the company five years ago and is responsible for evaluating demographic and competitive information to determine appropriate markets and trade areas to grow the chain.

A senior development director, Michael Vogel, CFE joined Del Taco three years ago and is responsible for real estate/site selection and franchisee recruiting for the quick-serve chain's growth throughout the Midwest. He has held similar positions at Quiznos and Dairy Queen.

Candidates must complete a rigorous course of study to earn the CFE designation, which includes attending institute-sponsored educational seminars and workshops. The program is designed to enhance franchising professionals' understanding of both the industry's fundamental and complex aspects. There are more than 1,100 candidates enrolled or have received this certification.
