Del Taco Strengthens Franchise Support with Two New Franchise Business Consultants

LAKE FOREST, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Del Taco, the nation's No. 2 Mexican quick serve chain, today announced the company has strengthened its franchise support services with the addition of two new franchise business consultants. Chip Bialzak has joined Del Taco as senior franchise business consultant and Chris Carr has joined the company as a franchise business consultant. Both will be responsible for helping Del Taco franchisees grow sales, implement marketing programs and continue to improve operations.

"They are both experienced franchise executives who can significantly impact sales and growth for Del Taco franchisees."

Bialzak and Carr will report to Barry Barnhart, vice president of franchise operations.

Prior to joining Del Taco, Bialzak held positions in franchise operations and support and lead national development efforts at Domino's Pizza LLC. He holds an MBA from Loyola College and a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame.

With more than 20 years of franchise business experience, Carr previously held franchise operations positions with Pizza Inn and Applebee's. He also owned and operated his own restaurant concept. He holds a bachelor's degree in hotel and business management from Paul Smiths College.

Del Taco operates and franchises more than 515 restaurants in 18 states.
