Veteran Development Executive Rob Streett Joins Mrs. Fields and TCBY as Brands Begin Aggressive Expansion Plans

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mrs. Fields Famous Brands, LLC, which includes Mrs. Fields Cookies and TCBY, The Country's Best Yogurt, announces aggressive expansion plans both domestically and abroad as well as the hire of Rob Streett as Senior VP Development. Mrs. Fields Famous Brands is based in Salt Lake City, UT.

The iconic cookie and frozen yogurt companies, which have been around for 32 and 28 years respectively, continue to dominate both franchise categories and are aggressively strengthening their footprints both within the U.S. and on a global level. Rob Streett has been brought on to lead domestic development for the two brands focusing on non-traditional opportunities. Most recently, Streett was SVP Non-Traditional Development for Quiznos, and has also worked with Cold Stone Creamery and Starbucks.

On an international level, TCBY and Mrs. Fields have announced that after a five-year hold on international development they are once again partnering with new master franchisees around the world. Co-CEO Michael Ward is spearheading this endeavor and announced that since January 2009, he has signed agreements for both TCBY and Mrs. Fields in over five new countries. New stores will open as early as this fall in Bahrain, Kuwait, Greece, and Saudi Arabia.
