Baskin-Robbins Offers the Best of Both Worlds With New Double Header Cone

Baskin-Robbins Fans Can Now Enjoy Both Soft Serve and Hand-Scooped Ice Cream on the Same Cone

CANTON, Mass., Oct. 22 // PRNewswire // -- Baskin-Robbins, America's favorite neighborhood ice cream shop, now offers its customers the best of both worlds with Baskin-Robbins new Double Header ice cream cone. The unique cone is designed to hold a swirl of Soft Serve and a scoop of ice cream in a single cone. Customers can now enjoy countless combinations of their favorite hard ice cream flavors along with delicious Vanilla Soft Serve, side by side.

Baskin-Robbins is the only national ice cream retailer to serve both hard ice cream and Soft Serve. The Double Header cone is double the fun of a traditional ice cream cone and Baskin-Robbins is offering the treat for only $2.22.*

"Baskin-Robbins is thrilled to provide customers a fun new way to enjoy even more flavor combinations," said Srinivas Kumar, Chief Brand Officer for Baskin-Robbins. "The Double Header is what Baskin-Robbins is all about -- ice cream variety. Choosing just one of our 31 flavors can be a difficult task. This fun cone lets customers choose their favorite flavor and try something new, like adding smooth and creamy Soft Serve. With so many possible flavor combinations, we are sure the Double Header cone will bring twice as much joy to ice cream lovers and at a great value."

Endless Possibilities

Baskin-Robbins introduced Soft Serve in May 2008, becoming the only national ice cream chain to offer both Soft Serve and hard ice cream. Baskin-Robbins conducted a survey in collaboration with Insight Express to learn more about Americans' ice cream eating habits. The survey found that more than half of Americans cannot decide between traditional hard ice cream and Soft Serve -- they love both! The solution: the Double Header cone -- a delicious choice with endless options.

* Double Header cone price of $2.22 for one 2.5 oz. hard ice cream scoop and one 2 oz. Soft Serve serving. Two scoops of hard ice cream and two Soft Serve servings may result in an upcharge at select Baskin-Robbins locations. All other menu items including ice cream toppings will remain at regular menu price. Offer available while supplies last at participating Baskin-Robbins.
