The Growth Coach Recognizes Its Outstanding Franchise Owners
Business Coaching Concept Awards Star Owners at Annual Convention
October 28, 2009 // Franchising.com // CINCINNATI – The Growth Coach, the only pure business coaching franchise system in North America with the single purpose of helping drive the success and balance the lives of business owners, recently presented seven deserving franchise owners with awards ranging from Coach of the Year to Outstanding Owner in a New Market to the Spirit Award. Each owner was presented with the honor at the company's annual franchisee convention in Lincolnshire, Illinois on October 14, 2009.
Mike Mirau, owner of The Growth Coach in Dallas, Texas, was honored as the 2009 Coach of the Year. This award was established to honor the franchisee who continually demonstrates leadership and excellence in a variety of ways, including excellent client service. Mike has made many contributions to our system including his active participation in our training class through live coaching sessions with some of his clients, his energy and sharing of best practices on monthly conference calls and his willingness to participate in our national account opportunities. He has also been instrumental in the development, testing and implementation of new programs and tools for the entire system. In addition to all of those activities, he has been involved in the mentoring other franchise owners. Mike is a remarkable franchise owner who is truly deserving of and has certainly earned the 2009 Coach of the Year Award.
Susan Katz, owner of The Growth Coach in Baltimore, Maryland, was named as the 2009 Outstanding Franchise Owner in a New Market. This award is given to a new franchise owner who successfully establishes a strong brand presence in his or her market while expanding their own business development and maintaining strong client service satisfaction. Susan is an owner with that go-getter enthusiasm and desire to serve others who has taken business ownership by the reins, learned the franchise system well and has proactively reached out to existing owners for advice as well as sharing best practices.
The Growth Coach's Spirit Award was established to recognize those owners who continuously exemplify team spirit. The owner's willingness to help other owners within the franchise system, provide mentoring services and help roll out new programs nationwide are all factors considered when selecting an owner for this award. Five franchise owners were recognized with this award, including:
