Quick-Causal Fresh Mexican Chain to Open in Dubai's World Famous Burj Khalifa

CYPRESS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Baja Fresh Mexican Grill, the quick-casual fresh Mexican chain, is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its first international location at the entrance of the world famous Burj Khalifa in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Outfitted in a contemporary, intimate décor, the new location is perfect for dine-in guests or those on the go. Guests can choose from an array of tacos, burritos, salads and fajitas all featuring fresh, and flavorful fire-grilled meats and produce. The salsa bar encourages guests to choose from a selection of freshly made salsas, with at least one that will suit their taste-buds.

The new 900 sq. ft. restaurant is owned and operated by 12-year industry veteran Khalil Asfour, of Vetra Investments. Asfour also owns and operates a number of other concepts and has secured the rights to develop Baja Fresh's sister brand La Salsa, with plans to open its first location in Dubai later in 2010. Asfour is honored to be the first international franchisee of the Baja Fresh chain and stated, "I am very excited to introduce the distinctive flavors of Baja Fresh to the sophisticated Dubai Market. The excellent food and service of the Baja Fresh concept is a great mach to the Dubai quality of living."
