Fresh-Mexican Chain Opens New La Salsa Pronto in George Bush International Airport, Houston

CYPRESS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill, the fast-casual fresh Mexican chain, is excited to announce the opening of its 1st Houston restaurant, located inside Terminal C South, at the George Bush International Airport. Designed with an exciting multicolored interior, and brightly lit neon signage, the new restaurant features authentic, savory, made to order Mexican food, margaritas, imported beers, and an assortment of freshly prepared salsas, in an express format perfect for busy travelers on the go.

The 570-square-foot restaurant is owned and operated by 20-year industry veteran Niki Smith Evans, who also owns and operates other concepts in the Houston area. The new restaurant is open from 6 a.m. - 9 p.m., 7 days per week. When asked why she opened a La Salsa in the particular location, Ms. Smith Evans responded, "It is the only Mexican style food in Terminal C South, which is extremely busy due to its direct connection to Continental Airlines' new Terminal E. This is the first La Salsa in Houston, and I'm thrilled to be a part of it."

La Salsa President Charles Rink noted, "The La Salsa Pronto now open in the Houston Airport is an excellent example of the company's effort to expand in unconventional markets. We anticipate great success at this location and look forward to our partnership with Niki Smith Evans and her team." In a final note Ms. Smith Evans stated, "The travelling public at Bush International Airport are in for a fantastic treat at the new La Salsa Pronto."
