Owner Celebrates with Free Subs

Hoover, AL - Jersey Mike's Subs officially opened its doors in Hoover, AL. Jersey Mike's owner, Chris Decker knows the importance of community relations and celebrated his ties with the area when he held his grand opening on February 3, 2010.

To commemorate the event, the new restaurant, located at 1851 Montgomery Highway, hosted a 5-day fundraiser from Wed., February 3 through Sun., February 7, with proceeds supporting The Exceptional Foundation. Anyone who had a fundraising coupon received a free regular size sub with a minimum $1 donation. Coupons were distributed throughout the community and in local newspapers.

"The Exceptional Foundation's mission is to meet the social and recreational needs of the mentally and/or physically challenged individuals in the greater Birmingham Area," said Decker. "We share that commitment to our neighbors and invite the community in to help us raise funds to support the Foundation's good work. We look forward to getting to know our neighbors."

Reaching out to the community is a key component of Jersey Mike's mission.
