Qdoba Mexican Grill(R) Franchise Adds Even More Variety to Craft 2(TM) Menu

New Craft 2TM Menu Gives Guests Ability to Mix and Match for More Variety and Now Includes Mexican GumboTM, 3-cheese Nachos and Two Tacos

DENVER -(BUSINESS WIRE)- Qdoba Mexican Grill®, known for its wide variety of handcrafted, fresh and innovative Mexican cuisine options, announced today that it is responding to guests' requests and adding even more variety to its popular Craft 2™ menu with the addition of Mexican Gumbo™, 3-cheese nachos and two tacos options. Launched in January, Craft 2 lets guests mix and match two of Qdoba's most popular items in one entree.

"We believe that variety really is the spice of life, so we're happy to respond to our guest's requests with even more of Qdoba's freshly prepared favorites." .In addition to the newly added Mexican Gumbo, nachos and two tacos options, Qdoba guests can also craft their meals to include Qdoba's Naked Burrito®, Naked Taco Salad™, quesadilla or tortilla soup. The Craft 2 menu allows guests to try more items and signature flavors for approximately $5.99 excluding tax (prices may vary by location). All of Qdoba's meals are handmade in front of guests and topped with personally selected fresh ingredients, including one of five distinctive salsas.

Since all Qdoba menu items are made fresh, guests can customize their orders to fit their own nutritional needs and taste preferences. Guests can also use Qdoba's nutritional calculator on its Web site to build, customize and calculate the nutritional value of every menu item.

For guests cutting calories, Qdoba offers a variety of single menu items that are 600 calories or less. In addition, the smaller portions of the Craft 2 menu allow guests to create several nutritious meal combinations for less than 600 calories. Below are a few examples of Qdoba's Craft 2 combinations that are less than 600 calories:

  • Mexican Gumbo with pulled pork and a Naked Chicken Taco Salad (410 calories): Mexican Gumbo includes tortilla soup, cilantro lime rice, 100% vegetarian black beans, slow roasted pulled pork and pico de gallo. The Naked Taco Salad includes grilled chicken, black bean corn salsa, fat-free picante ranch dressing, and pico de gallo.
  • 3-Cheese Steak Nachos and a Naked Chicken Taco Salad (585 calories): 3-Cheese Nachos include handmade tortilla chips, grilled steak, 3-cheese Queso, 100% vegetarian black beans and pico de gallo. The Naked Taco Salad includes grilled chicken, black bean corn salsa, fat-free picante ranch dressing, and pico de gallo.
  • Naked Taco Salad with grilled vegetables and two pulled pork tacos (585 calories): Naked Taco Salad includes grilled zucchini, yellow squash and red peppers, black bean corn salsa, fat free picante Ranch dressing, Roja salsa and sour cream. Tacos include soft flour tortilla, hand-pulled and seasoned pork, salsa verde, sour cream and lettuce.
