Baskin-Robbins Celebrates America's Favorite Pastime With Baseball Nut Ice Cream

Cool Off in June with Baskin-Robbins Baseball-Inspired Flavor of the Month

CANTON, Mass., June 2 // PRNewswire // -- It's one, two, three scoops and you're in with Baskin-Robbins renowned Baseball Nut® ice cream. Nothing says summer is here better than baseball and ice cream, and this June, ice cream and baseball lovers everywhere can enjoy a taste of America's favorite pastime at Baskin-Robbins. For a limited time, the iconic ice cream brand is celebrating the "boys of summer" with Baseball Nut, June's Flavor of the Month.

Baskin-Robbins has been creating pop-culture-inspired flavors for the last 65 years, and Baseball Nut is no exception. It is a smooth, vanilla flavored ice cream swirled with a black raspberry ribbon and loaded with cashews. Originally, Baseball Nut commemorated the Dodgers' move from Brooklyn to Los Angeles in 1958. When the Dodgers arrived in Los Angeles, they were greeted with Baseball Nut, complete with raspberries to "heckle" the umpires.

To celebrate the Baseball Nut flavor, Baskin-Robbins will give away prizes throughout the month of June via Twitter.
