Internet Retailer's definitive ranking and analysis of America's 500 largest e-retailers is based on annual 2009 Internet sales, researched by Internet Retailer. Batteries Plus was also ranked No. 51 overall in the Computer/Electronics category.
"As more and more consumers make purchases online, the importance of online retail remains a significant aspect of our company's strategic decisions," said Russ Reynolds, CEO of Batteries Plus. Our web marketing team is energized by this news, and plans for even better results next year!"
The news of the Internet Retailer ranking comes on the heels of several industry accolades for Batteries Plus, including being ranked No. 1 for the term "car batteries," and placed No. 76 overall out of the top 250 retailers ranked for natural, non-paid, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) in a previous Internet Retailer guide.
