The new franchise opens Monday, June 21, 2010 for a private VIP event, and is open to the public on Wednesday, June 23, 2010. A special Grand Opening Celebration will be held Saturday, July 17, 2010 featuring a ribbon cutting at 10:30 a.m. with city officials. As immigrants from Lithuania, the pair's similar backgrounds led Edvin and Val to become friends when they met in America. They are using their restaurant and food service experience – along with a strong work ethic – to pursue their hopes and dreams together. The partners will run the franchise as a team.
"To open a Buffalo Wings & Rings is a fantastic opportunity, and we could not pass it up," Edvin said. "We just thought: 'If not now, when?'"
Buffalo Wings & Rings has achieved the top spot on Restaurant Business magazine's annual "The Future 50" list, a ranking of the top 50 fastest-growing restaurant chains in the country. The chain was also named one of the top 500 franchises as ranked by Entrepreneur magazine.
