Baskin-Robbins Franchise Japan Celebrates the Opening of Its 1,000th Store

TOKYO // PRNewswire // -- Baskin-Robbins is opening its 1,000th store in Japan. To honor this important milestone the company held a grand opening celebration at the new shop located at Decks Tokyo Beach, 1-6-1 Daiba, Minato-Ku in Tokyo.

The shop, which includes a beautiful outdoor deck at which guests can sit and enjoy their favorite flavors, features the full complement of Baskin-Robbins ice cream, sundaes, beverages, and ice cream cakes. Japanese guests can select from world favorites like Vanilla and Mint Chocolate Chip, but can also try popular local flavors like Popping Shower (white chocolate and creme de menthe flavor with "pop rock" inclusions), Matcha (green tea flavor) and Musk Melon.

Since opening their first shop 37 years ago, Baskin-Robbins' Japanese partner B-R 31 Ice Cream Company Ltd. has greatly contributed to making Baskin-Robbins the global ice cream leader it is today.
