BrightStar Franchising Names Chuck Bailey President

September 29, 2010 // Franchising.com // CHICAGO - BrightStar Franchising, LLC, a full-service healthcare staffing agency that provides medical and non-medical homecare to private clients within their homes, as well as supplemental healthcare staff to corporate clients, announces Chuck Bailey as President.

Bailey, who has held various positions with the company since 2006, takes over the responsibility of maintaining and accelerating the growth of the company's LifeCare | KidCare | Staffing business and will guide its international expansion.

"This was an easy decision, the right decision, as we implement a purposeful time plan to take our business to the next level," said Shelly Sun, Co-Founder and CEO of BrightStar Franchising, who will continue to provide her dedicated leadership, while driving the company's strategic vision of developing complementary services to the brand. "Chuck shares the same values, passion and innate desire to keep our existing and prospective franchisees successful."

The announcement was made last week at BrightStar's annual conference, during which Sun shared the company's vision with its franchisees for additional brands over the next 5-7 years.

According to Sun, BrightStar's franchisees were excited about the opportunity for growth and appreciated the company's continued commitment to providing the highest level of support, as well as the growth in infrastructure that will further support them every day.

"Chuck is ready to take the helm, working with our franchisees to drive their success, which in turn will drive ours," Sun added. "Chuck will focus on franchisee results, the growth of the BrightStar brand and franchisee satisfaction, while I work on the enterprise and strategy and the launch of our next brand in 2011."

With nearly 25 years of senior executive experience in the manufacturing and healthcare industries, Bailey first joined BrightStar in 2006 as a franchisee in the Chicagoland area. In 2008, he sold his franchise so he could relocate to be with his family. Being in the business to help others and seeing the high growth of the industry and the values of BrightStar Bailey and Sun wanted to find a way to keep BrightStar in their family. Bailey joined the company's corporate team as vice president of operations one month after selling his franchise in 2008, only to be promoted nine months later to senior vice president, a role that increased his responsibility to include operations strategy, national account development, franchise support and overall operating efficiencies of the BrightStar franchise system.

"My call to action is to help our franchisees fulfill their dreams of business ownership by delivering a scalable business model combined with industry leading quality and service standards." Bailey said, noting his plans to maximize the company's growth by helping existing franchisees continue their rapid growth, by servicing new markets as well as through international expansion. "I am incredibly excited to take what I learned as a franchisee and as a member of BrightStar's leadership team to help our franchisees fulfill those dreams."
