Franchisee and Joint Venture Groups To Open 26 Locations in Florida, Alabama, and the Carolinas

DALLAS, Jan. 18, 2011 // PRNewswire // -- Genghis Grill – The Mongolian Stir Fry has signed on franchisee group, JNE (Jordan, Nicholas, Elliott) Mongolian, LLC, to lead the Tampa, FL market and Chris Carroll, an existing joint-venture partner, to lead Alabama, North Carolina and South Carolina markets.

Jordan Dorsch, President and Chief Executive Officer of JNE Mongolian, LLC, has over 15 years of restaurant management experience as he has been an operator in the franchise business world since 1995. Dorsch has won multiple restaurant industry awards including Franchisee of the year in 1997 and 2004 with Papa John's. From 2003 to 2007, Dorsch served as Franchise Consultant and District Supervisor to each of the region's operations. From 2001-2003, Dorsch was part of the turnaround team at Checkers/Rally's Drive-In Restaurants having held multiple positions from Restaurant General Manager to Franchise Business Consultant.

Dorsch and his company have secured 6 Genghis Grill locations in the Tampa, FL market. The first Genghis Grill location is set to open in Brandon, FL - a former Krispy Kreme site on Providence Road, this March. A site has been secured to open later this Spring in Tampa, off of Dale Mabry Highway. Future locations for the Florida market will open throughout 2011.

Industry veteran, Chris Carroll, an existing joint venture partner, plans to further penetrate Genghis Grill's brand in the Southeast. Carroll is president and CEO of Spring Creek Restaurants, Ltd., which includes Spring Creek Barbeque, Shady Oak Barbeque & Grill, Casa Rita's Mexican Grill and Mexican Inn Cafes. The company owns and operates over 35 restaurants across Texas.

Carroll and his group are set to open up their first Genghis Grill location in early March in Charlotte, NC in the Ballantyne area off of North Community House Road. A site has also been secured in the Chace Landing shopping center in Hoover, AL to open up late March.

With aggressive expansion goals to reach 100 stores by the end of 2011, Genghis Grill is set to open more than 40 stores in 2011.
