Charley's Grilled Subs to Celebrate Summer Season with Free Fries and Beverage
July 05, 2011 // Franchising.com // COLUMBUS, OHIO – Charley's Grilled Subs, the 430–unit franchise best known for its Philly Steak Sandwiches, is giving customers another reason to celebrate this Independence Day season – an exclusive deal for free fries and a drink.
Through July 8, 2011, fans who text "FREEDOM" TO 614-808-2088 will receive a coupon via email that is redeemable for free fries and a drink with purchase of any sub. Coupons will be sent in real time and may be redeemed in printed form or electronically on a mobile device at participating locations. Contributing patrons will automatically register for Charley's e-club and will be notified of future exclusive offers.
"Few things are more American than a tasty Philly Steak Sandwich, and this promotion is our way of encouraging Charley's fans to celebrate the holiday season with us," said Bob Wright, COO of Charley's Grilled Subs.
The promotion is available to both new and existing e-club members. Charley's, which currently has more than 400 locations in 16 countries, makes its signature sandwiches using only 100 percent USDA choice steak, all natural cheeses, fresh vegetables and bread. Every sandwich is made-to-order in front of each customer.
Charley's was founded in 1986 by the company's CEO, Charley Shin. In addition to its booming international growth, Charley's continues its rapid U.S. development as well. Plans call for the franchise to have at least 500 restaurants open by the end of 2011.
