Jersey Mike's Subs Raises Funds For Salvation Army Kroc Center Grand Opening

Owner Celebrates with Free Subs

Jersey Mike's Subs opened its eighth location in San Diego. Jersey Mike's owner, Cathy Brown, knows the importance of community relations and celebrated her ties with the area during the grand opening on August 17.

To commemorate the event, the new restaurant, located at 6083 El Cajon Blvd., Campus Plaza Center hosting a 5-day fundraiser from Wednesday, August 17 through Sunday, August 21, with proceeds supporting The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center. Anyone who had a fundraising coupon received a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution. Coupons were distributed throughout the community and in local newspapers. Proceeds of the fundraiser will benefit the Scholarship Fund.

"The Salvation Army Kroc Center is not only a wonderful health and wellness facility it is also a community within the bigger community, and provides programs that support those in need," said Brown. "The Center benefits everyone and is a perfect match for Jersey Mike's values and spirit of giving."
