Country's Fastest Growing Barbecue Chain Expands to Miramar

MIRAMAR, Fla., Sept. 12, 2011 // PRNewswire // -- With expansion plans in place for Dickey's Barbecue in Florida, Hicham Kehdy jumps on board by signing a franchise agreement for a Miramar location.

"Following a friend's recommendation, we drove to the nearest location to give Dickey's Barbecue a try. After tasting the food we were convinced to bring Dickey's to South Florida," said Kehdy, who will own and operate the location in Miramar.

This location at 11334 Miramar Parkway will be the fourth for the state Florida.

"Dickey's will fulfill the need of barbecue in the Miramar area. The restaurant is only minutes from a major highway exit and will allow travelers a nice break and delicious food," said Phillips. "The community is very excited for fast and family-friendly barbecue."

Every Sunday, Dickey's offers a "Kids Eat Free" promotion, encouraging families to dine together.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit is well-known for their hot pit-smoked signature meats, complimentary ice cream and the big yellow cups.

The original Dallas location is still open for business and Dickey's Barbecue Pit is still owned and operated by the Dickey Family.

There are 171 locations in 39 states.

Even today, Dickey's still slow smokes all of their signature meats overnight in every restaurant
