Fazoli's Feeds a Critical Need
Families Save While Money is Raised for Childhood Hunger
LEXINGTON, KY, September 14, 2011 — More than 17 million kids in America are at risk of hunger. Next week, you can do something to help by dining out. Share Our Strength's fourth annual Great American Dine Out will be held September 18-24 at nearly 4,000 restaurants nationwide. The goal is to raise more than one million dollars for childhood hunger initiatives, such as breakfast, afterschool and summer meal programs, as well as expanded access to food stamps for families in need.
Fazoli's is once again participating in the Great American Dine Out with an offer benefiting all families. If you visit a Fazoli's restaurant between September 18 and 24 and make a $1 donation to Share Our Strength, you will receive a coupon worth $5 off any family meal. Fazoli's hopes to attract more families interested in supporting the Share Our Strength organization and its cause against childhood hunger.
Cathy Hull, Fazoli's Chief Marketing Officer, is excited about the opportunity to help such an important cause. ″Fazoli's is a popular destination for families,″ said Hull. ″I think our customers understand that children need proper nutrition in order to excel emotionally, physically, and mentally. Share Our Strength is doing really great work at raising awareness and funds to combat childhood hunger, and Fazoli's is glad to be a part of the Great American Dine Out.″
