SOUTHBURY, Conn. — Recognized as a dominant force in U.S. business development, The Entrepreneurs Source (TES)—with more than 25 years of experience supporting growth-focused franchise companies—today announced its sponsorship of the International Franchise Association's (IFA) Institute of Certified Franchise Executives (ICFE). The significant donation will be used to help underwrite the cost of administering the Certified Franchise Executives (CFE) program for participating executives seeking to expand their knowledge of franchising.
″On behalf of the ICFE Board, we offer our sincere appreciation to The Entrepreneur's Source for its financial support of the CFE program and look forward to cooperating with them on advancing professional development for franchise executives,″ said Mark Liston, CFE, Chairman, ICFE, and Vice President of Operations, Glass Doctor. ″As the Educational Sponsor, The Entrepreneur's Source will be recognized at future CFE educational programs and in information about the CFE program.″
The CFE is a career development program that offers franchise executives opportunities to learn, grow professionally and reach a recognized standard of excellence. Upon completion of a course of study and meeting other qualifications established by the ICFE board of governors, franchise professionals receive the Certified Franchise Executive designation.
″For a decade we have had the privilege of working with hundreds of franchise professionals both through TES and at networking events,″ said Brian Miller, president of TES. ″Our passion is franchising, and we believe the CFE program is a critical component to ensuring the long-term growth of franchise companies nationwide. We are proud of our dedication to the IFA and the hundreds of franchise executives who see significant value in our Franchise Accelerated Success Training (FAST) CFE program. Our contributions will play an integral role in guiding today's franchise leaders. We believe our efforts to improve franchisor education, through our Zor Source division, align very well with the objectives of the ICFE.″
Since the CFE program began in the early 1980s, nearly 700 franchise executives have earned their CFE designation through completion of the prescribed course of study. More than 1,300 franchise executives are currently enrolled in the CFE program, and 140 executives received their CFE designation during the IFA annual convention in Las Vegas last February.
