Dickey's Barbecue Pit Celebrates Its Grand Opening in Miramar Today

MIRAMAR, Fla., Nov. 30, 2011 // PRNewswire // -- Florida get ready to enjoy some delicious barbecue for only one dollar! Dickey's Barbecue Pit celebrates its grand opening in Miramar today, November 30th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

"This grand opening in Florida is going to be great," said Roland Dickey Jr., president of Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. "The surrounding community is really going to enjoy the food, the prizes and the ribbon cutting."

This new store is located at 11338 Miramar Parkway and is owned and operated by Hicham Kehdy and Gilbert Harb.

At the grand opening Majic 102.7 will be there to entertain the crowd. Customers will enjoy $1 pulled pork big barbecue sandwiches and will be able to enter into a drawing where three lucky people will win free barbecue for a year. If that isn't enough excitement for you--Dickey's will also be giving away a 40" RCA television to one lucky winner at the grand opening.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit opened in 1941 in Dallas, Texas and began franchising in 1994. Since then Dickey's has experienced a rapid growth rate this year and is scheduled to have 200 locations by the end of 2011. Currently, there are 191 locations nationwide.
