North Carolina Welcomes a New Dickey's Barbecue Pit

HIGH POINT, N.C., Dec. 6, 2011 // PRNewswire // -- Dickey's Barbecue Pit will open its doors in High Point today and will begin serving delicious barbecue to the surrounding community.

"I was drawn to Dickey's Barbecue Pit because of the delicious barbecue and strong commitment to customer service," said franchise owner Tom Moore.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit is located at 5872 Samet Drive. Moore will have 17 employees working at his store. Moore also owns and operates a store in Winston Salem.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit opened its first location in Dallas in 1941 and began franchising in 1994. By the end of 2011, Dickey's is said to have 200 stores.
