ROUND ROCK, Texas, Dec. 15, 2011 // PRNewswire // -- Dickey's Barbecue Pit celebrates its grand opening today, December 15th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The store is located at 661 Louis Henna Blvd., Suite 330.

"I am ready to serve the crowds of people some great tasting barbecue," said franchise owner Sal Bhatty.

At the grand opening, KVET 98.1 will be there to entertain the crowd. Customers will enjoy $1 pulled pork big barbecue sandwiches from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will have a chance to enter a drawing for free barbecue for a year where three lucky people will win.

Dickey's Barbecue opened in 1941 in Dallas and began franchising in 1994. This weekend, Dickey's will open its 200th store location in Abilene, Texas.
