KENNESAW, Ga., Dec. 16, 2011 // PRNewswire // -- What are you doing this Friday, December 16th? You should be going to the grand opening of Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Kennesaw. The store is located at 1610 Ridenour Boulevard under the direction of local franchisee, Kent Latham.

"The community is excited about our grand opening and we are excited to provide delicious barbecue and excellent customer service," said Latham.

At the grand opening, Kicks 101.5 will be there to handout goodies and entertain the crowd. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. customers will enjoy $1 pulled pork big barbecue sandwiches. Customers will also be given a chance to enter into a drawing where three people will win free barbecue for a year.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit opened its first location in Dallas in 1941. Dickey's began franchising in 1994 and has grown at an exponential rate. Dickey's will open its 200th location this weekend in Abilene.
