Mississippi Heats Up With Dickey's Authentic Barbecue

FLOWOOD, Miss., Dec. 16, 2011 // PRNewswire // -- Dickey's Barbecue Pit is now serving delicious barbecue in Flowood. This new location opened its doors today, December 16th.

This new restaurant is located at 268 Dogwood Blvd. The owner of this location has plans to open additional stores all throughout the Jackson area.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit opened in 1941 in Dallas, Texas and began franchising in 1994. This year Dickey's has experienced a 46% growth rate; from 137 stores to 200. Dickey's 200th location opens tomorrow, December 17th in Abilene, Texas.
