Capriotti's Names Patrick Walls President

Former COO Will Lead Capriotti's Effort To Oversee Rapid Growth Of Franchise Restaurants

LAS VEGAS, NV, January 12, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The leader in fresh and innovative sandwiches, Capriotti's, announced the appointment of Patrick Walls to President of the company. Walls previously served as Chief Operating Officer for over two years with the company. Walls will be responsible for implementing and executing the strategy developed by the CEO and the Board of Directors as well as ensuring the company and each of its departments achieve its annual goals.

As COO, Walls oversaw Capriotti's 50 percent growth while also securing franchise commitments for over 200 additional restaurants to be built over the next 5 years. Additionally, Walls managed the introduction of a new menu line of salads and was instrumental in entering national agreements with Pepsi and Frito Lay as well as a national distribution agreement with Sysco. In Walls' time at Capriotti's, the brand has seen positive same store sales increases each year. Prior to joining Capriotti's, Walls held numerous positions for McAlister's Corporation, franchisor of the McAlister's Deli brand from 1996 to 2009 working his way up to Chief Franchise Officer and General Counsel. During Walls' tenure, McAlister's grew from 10 to over 280 restaurants with systemwide sales approaching $350 million. Walls is a Certified Franchise Executive and serves on the International Franchise Association's ICFE Board of Governors. Walls is also a member of the bar of the United States Supreme Court.
