Jersey Mike’s Subs Raises Funds For Booster Club At Grand Opening

Owner Celebrates with Free Subs

WHO:

Pat White opened his second Jersey Mike’s Subs location in Virginia.  He recently celebrated his first store opening in December 2011 located at 11199 Lee Highway in Fairfax, Va.

WHAT: 

The grand opening and free sub fundraiser will support the Westfield Athletic Booster Club (WABC). Anyone who has a fundraising coupon can get a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution. Fifteen thousand coupons were distributed throughout the community.

WHERE:

The new store is located at 5005 Westone Plaza Blvd., Chantilly, Va. 

WHEN:

• Grand Opening – Wed., Feb. 8, 2012 
• Fundraiser -- Runs 5 Days from Wed., Feb. 8 through Sun., Feb. 12, 2012. 

WHY:

On the fundraiser: Westfield Athletic Booster Club is dedicated to supporting all Westfield high school and student athletes through a variety of fundraising activities and events. “It’s crucial to contribute to local programs that are subject to the budget cuts in this economy,” said White. “This funding deficit in tandem with my long-standing relationship with WABC made the choice of this partnership without question.” 

All Jersey Mike’s franchise owners find ways to support their neighbors and employees are encouraged to volunteer their time and talents as well.

On Jersey Mike’s:  “Whether we’re sponsoring an organization helping to raise awareness and needed funds, or guiding team members in the stores to reach their personal goals — it’s all about giving back and making a difference in the lives of others,” said White.
