World's Largest Barbecue Chain Signs a Lease in Gallup

GALLUP, N.M., March 15, 2012 // PRNewswire // -- Dickey's Barbecue is bringing great tastin' barbecue to Gallup. The quick-serve barbecue will be serving up its signature barbecue and sides in no time now that a lease is in place. The new location is in the Safeway and Pep Boys strip mall at 820 North US 491.

"This whole process is so exciting -- It's hard to believe it's actually happening," said new franchise owner Orlin Skyberg. "I can't wait until we can open our doors and begin serving delicious barbecue."

Skyberg currently lives in Richardson, Texas, but was born and raised in New Mexico. She is looking forward to moving closer to her family.

"After we open the Gallup location I really want to open more in stores in New Mexico," said Skyberg.

Dickey's currently has only one other location in the market in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
