World's Largest Barbecue Chain Partners with Carter Blood Center

CEDAR HILL, Texas, April 5, 2012 // PRNewswire // -- Dickey's Barbecue is hosting a blood drive benefitting Carter Blood Center on April 14 from 3pm to 7pm. Franchise owner Mark Kerr is grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community.

"The blood drive touches us deeply," said Kerr. "Last year one of our employees needed an emergency blood transfusion and we are hoping that by holding this event we can help save more lives."
