World's Largest Barbecue Franchise Hosts Grand Opening in San Jose

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 16, 2012 // PRNewswire // -- Dickey's Barbecue Pit is bringing the heat to San Jose. Multi-franchise owner, Jimmy Lu, is celebrating the grand opening of his new store on April 19 where customers can enjoy $1 pulled pork big barbecue sandwiches all day.

"The San Jose community has welcomed us with excitement since opening," said Lu. "Everybody loves our barbecue, free ice cream and of course that kids eat free after 3pm and all day on Sundays."

At the event, customers will have a chance to win free barbecue for a year. Come join the celebration at 5391 Prospect Road. The hours of operation are from 11am to 9pm.
