A New Dickey's Barbecue is Opening in Hickory

HICKORY, N.C., April 17, 2012 // PRNewswire // -- The world's largest barbecue franchise is now ready to serve its hickory smoked meats to the Hickory community. The store opens Thursday, April 19 and the first 100 customers will receive a free pulled pork big barbecue sandwich.

"Dickey's has great food and a family-friendly atmosphere," said local franchise owner Barbara Dobson. "I know we're going to fit right into the Hickory community and can't wait to get involved."

The new smokin' hot store is located at 1036 Lenoir Rhyne Blvd. SE. right by Lenoir Rhyne University. The store hours are 11am to 9pm daily and the store phone number is 828-855-9390.

Dickey's isn't showing any signs of slowing down in its expansion plans for North Carolina. This will be the tenth location in North Carolina with several more slated to open this year.

The world's largest barbecue franchise added over 66 stores last year and is planning to add 100 new locations nationwide in 2012.
