Pancheros Mexican Grill To Debut In Waterloo

Fast-casual Mexican restaurant celebrates opening with Dollar Burrito Night.

April 24, 2012 // Franchising.com // Waterloo, IA - Pancheros Mexican Grill will open its first restaurant in Waterloo Tuesday, April 24 at 2845 Crossroads Blvd. To celebrate, the restaurant is hosting a grand opening Dollar Burrito Night from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 8. There will be a live radio remote form Rock 108.
Pancheros founder Rodney Anderson is excited to continue expanding in the company’s home state of Iowa. The Coralville-based company has 16 restaurants open in Iowa—including one in nearby Cedar Falls—but this will be the first in Waterloo.

“We’re excited to open in Waterloo for the first time. Waterloo is a natural extension since our Cedar Falls location has been so successful,” Anderson said. “2012 has been a great year for Pancheros so far with our updated branding and website. We’re excited to continue expanding in Iowa and across the country with new franchised and company-operated locations.”
