Dickey's Slow Smoked Barbecue Opens In Warner Robins

World's Largest Barbecue Franchise Opens New Store in Georgia

WARNER ROBINS, Ga., May 8, 2012 // PRNewswire // -- Dickey's Barbecue is bringing the heat to Warner Robins. Franchise owner, Eric Barlow, a Warner Robins native, is opening his doors on May 10 and giving the first 150 customers a free pulled pork big barbecue sandwich.

"We are extremely excited to be opening," said owner Barlow. "We've had the smoker on for the last few days and people are about to break down the doors they are so ready for some great slow smoked barbecue."

Barlow grew up in Warner Robins and has spent his career years working in sales and technology in the Atlanta and Athens areas. Barlow's first job was with Wendy's and he's worked in every type of restaurant since. He has over 10 years of experience in the restaurant industry and it has always been one of his passions.

"I've always wanted to open my own restaurant," said Barlow. "When the doors open on Thursday, it will be just like Christmas – a dream come true."

In addition to the free sandwiches, the Warner Robins location is also having a Facebook contest where they will give away free barbecue for a year. Customers can go to https://www.facebook.com/WRDickeys for more details on entering.

The Warner Robins location is at 6011 Watson Blvd., Suite 380 and the store phone number is 478-273-8233. This will be the eighth Dickey's location in Georgia and the first for Warner Robins.
