Maui Wowi Hawaiian Opens a Mobile Fresh Fruit Smoothie Cart on the 16th Street Mall in Denver, Colorado

Maui Wowi Hawaiian opens a mobile unit on the 16th Street Pedestrian Mall in Downtown Denver to serve all-natural fresh fruit smoothies to visitors.

Greenwood Village, CO (PRWEB) May 11, 2012 - Maui Wowi Hawaiian has officially opened a mobile fresh fruit smoothie cart on the 16th Street Mall in Denver, Colorado. The outdoor location opened May 10, 2012 between Glenarm and Tremont Streets, and will be joining other mobile vendors to offer more food and beverage options to the downtown area.

Mobile food and beverage vendors have become a fixture in many metropolitan areas, bringing the convenience of quick service restaurants together with quality local fare. Their frozen beverages are made to order right in front of you, using fresh fruit purées and bananas, which are blended together and topped off with a colorful umbrella.

Maui Wowi Hawaiian Franchise Operator, Erik Boller has been serving the Denver area at events such as the Cherry Creek Farmer’s Market, as well as large venues like the National Western Complex. He says his new and more permanent location is a great opportunity for people to see the brand and try the product.

The outdoor location is a mobile unit called a Ka’anapali Cart and resembles a tiki hut with a thatched roof and bamboo facade. A brightly colored surfboard adorns the top of the cart that makes it easy to spot from a distance. Boller’s Maui Wowi cart will be on the 16th Street Mall throughout the summer months, open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The 16th Street Pedestrian Mall is one of Denver’s most popular attractions, with thousands of tourists and locals visiting daily. Fine dining and casual restaurants are intermingled with shops, vendors, and street performers. Cars are not allowed on the 16th Street Mall but instead you will find a free, environmentally friendly shuttle that runs the length of the mall; making it easy to get from one end to the other.
