World's Largest Barbecue Franchise Opens Newest Location in Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY, May 22, 2012 // PRNewswire // -- T.D. Dickey, III, grandson of Dickey's Barbecue founder Travis Dickey, along with co-owners Kimberly Miesch and Kim Nelson, are opening their second Oklahoma location this week.

"I'm very excited to be bringing our family's authentic slow-smoked barbecue to Oklahoma City," said T.D. Dickey, III, new store co-owner and third generation Dickey. "Oklahoma is such a perfect market for our unique concept and delicious barbecue – we've already had such a great response."

Nelson and Miesch are already active members of the community. The newest location Oklahoma City is at 2800 Northwest 63rd Street, Suite 500. The three owners also own the Dickey's in Midwest City.

Since 1941, the world's largest barbecue franchise has offered free kids meals every Sunday and affordable family packs designed to bring the whole family together for dinner. Family packs come with a choice of two meats, three medium sides, six rolls and Dickey's famous barbecue sauce.
