Army Veteran Is Excited To Be Taking On a New Venture

HOUMA, La., June 7, 2012 // PRNewswire // -- The world's largest barbecue franchise announced today new ownership at their Houma location. Louisiana native, Denny McCullough, is looking forward to leading the charge at the existing location.

"Louisiana is known for great food," said new owner, Denny McCullough. "But, there is nothing like Dickey's Barbecue in the area."

Dickey's Barbecue opened its Houma location in June 2011. It is located at 6489 West Park Avenue and the phone number is 985.851.1575. Dickey's is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and is available for special events and catering.

McCullough served in the United States Army for nine years in Kosovo and Iraq before beginning a career in Colorado oil fields. He is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a degree in Economics. McCullough took advantage of Dickey's Veteran's Incentive Package.

"I'm looking forward to moving to the area with my wife and kids and getting involved in the community," said McCullough. "It seems like a great place to raise a family."
