New Dickey's Opens In Pleasant Hill

Dickey's Barbecue Opening this Week in California

PLEASANT HILL, Calif., June 27, 2012 // PRNewswire // -- Joseph and Amy Meadows will open their first Dickey's Barbecue Pit, the world's largest barbecue chain, in Pleasant Hill on Thursday, June 28. In honor of this celebration Dickey's will be giving the first 100 customers a free pulled pork big barbecue sandwich.

"We wanted to join a franchise that not only had great food, but a unique and successful concept," said Joseph Meadows. "Dickey's was our first choice; it had everything we were looking for."

The couple was intrigued by the fact that Dickey's offers great meal options for families and that unlike most fast casual restaurants Dickey's offers healthy options for children.

"We absolutely love the Pleasant Hill community and the people seem to be very happy that we are bringing Dickey's to the area," said Joseph Meadows. "Dickey's offers a variety of food options at an affordable price—what's not to love."
