Owner Celebrates Grand Opening with Free Subs

July 25, 2012 - Jacksonville, FL - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled East Coast-style subs, will officially open its doors in Jacksonville on August 1. Franchise owner Ryan McLaughlin will hold a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, August 1 to Sunday, August 12 to support Foster Closet.

Foster Closet is a free resource for Northeast Florida's foster parents and relative and non-relative placements to access clothing, children's accessories, toys, and children's furniture. Foster Closet offers a simple, no-nonsense approach that provides immediate assistance without complicated procedures. Through the generous contributions of the community, Foster Closet’s inventory is abundant and they rely on a vast network of volunteers and donors to access additional donations at a moment’s notice.

The new restaurant, located at 1615 Hendricks Avenue, will circulate 10,000 coupons throughout the community, offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Foster Closet. Half of these 10,000 coupons will be valid through August 5 with the other half valid through August 12. Additional offers will also be available in the Florida Times Union.
