Green Bay Community Invited to Enjoy Free Pulled Pork Big Barbecue Sandwiches

GREEN BAY, Wis., Aug. 6, 2012 // PRNewswire // -- Dickey's Barbecue Pit will open its newest location in Green Bay this Thursday, August 9. In honor of this smokin' hot event, Dickey's will be giving the first 100 customers a free Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwich.

"We're excited about owning a successful barbecue franchise," said owner Stephen Hermann who owns and operates this location along with Aaron Pecor.

"Dickey's offers a unique concept and the slow smoked meats are one-of-a-kind."

Their new location is at 895 Lombardi Ave., two blocks away from Lambeau Field, the home stadium for the NFL's Green Bay Packers. The store phone number is 920-884-2800 and Dickey's is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

"We've had such positive feedback in the Green Bay area that we are looking into opening more locations this year," said Roland Dickey, Jr., president of Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. "We are thrilled to be expanding our brand across Wisconsin."

Dickey's opened its first location in Wisconsin in 2011 in Eau Claire. Since then it has added to the fleet with locations in Madison, Menomonie, Green Bay and coming soon Kenosha.
