AUGUSTA, Maine, Aug. 13, 2012 // PRNewswire // -- The grand opening of Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Augusta will be this Friday, August 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. To celebrate this special day, Dickey's will be serving $1 Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwiches and three lucky customers will win free barbecue for an entire year.

"The best part about owning a Dickey's is seeing happy customers that come back time and time again," said franchise owner Belinda Kerr, who owns and operates this location along with her husband Lee.

This store opened in May 2012 and has been busy ever since. It is located at 23 Bangor Street. Dickey's is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
