Dickey's Barbecue Opens its Doors in Grand Island, NE

World's Largest Barbecue Franchise Opens Newest Location in Nebraska on Thursday

GRAND ISLAND, Neb., Aug. 20, 2012 // PRNewswire // -- Multi-unit franchise owners Richard and Cheryl Cochran and Larry and Sue Tyler are eager to open their third Dickey's locations in Nebraska. The new location in Grand Island will open this Thursday, August 23 and the first 100 customers will receive a free Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwich.

"We are extremely excited to be opening our new location," said Richard Cochran. "We are lucky to be located in a great community. People can't wait to sink their teeth into our slow smoked Texas-style BBQ."

The two couples have taken Nebraska by storm. This location will be the third Dickey's for both couples; they also own two Kearney locations; one of which is located in the Great Platte River Road Archway. Prior to becoming Dickey's franchise owners, Richard and Larry worked for Schwan's and Cheryl and Sue worked in the school system.
