East Coast Sub Sensation Opens First Location In Aurora

August 20, 2012 • Aurora, CO - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled East Coast-style subs, officially opened its doors in Aurora on August 15. Franchise owner Michael Longhofer along with his father, Carl Longhofer, Jr. held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, August 15 to Sunday, August 19 to support the Kempe Foundation.

Headquartered on the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, The Kempe Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect has been recognized as a world leader in child abuse treatment and prevention programs for over forty years. Directed by some of the nation’s leading experts, The Kempe Center hosts innovative programs that treat abused children (from birth to age 18), train professionals and research treatment methods to help and heal the most children. As a world leader in the fight against child abuse and neglect, Kempe gives children and families more hopeful futures.

The new restaurant, located at 3571 S Tower Road, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community, offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to the Kempe Foundation.
