Dickey's Giving 100 Free Pulled Pork Big Barbecue Sandwiches in Bastrop

World's Largest Barbecue Franchise Opens in Bastrop This Thursday

BASTROP, Texas, Sept. 4, 2012 // PRNewswire // -- Dickey's knee slappin' great tastin' barbecue will soon be available in Bastrop. This new location will open Thursday, September 6 and in honor of this special day, Dickey's will be giving the first 100 customers a free Pulled Pork Big Barbecue Sandwich.

"We're excited to be bringing authentic pit smoked BBQ to Bastrop which is one of the fastest growing communities in Texas," said franchise owner Kress Childs. "Bastrop is still recovering from last summer's wildfires so we are thrilled that we can give them excellent customer service and mouthwatering food."

Childs has been in the catering business for 20 years. Max Gonzales is the general manager for this location and he offers over 20 years' experience in restaurant management. Both Childs and Gonzales are eager to open this week.

This new location is at 696 W. State Highway 71 in Woodland Village. The store phone number is 512-772-4131. Dickey's is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
