World's Largest Barbecue Franchise Opens New Location this Thursday in California

LODI, Calif., Sept. 4, 2012 // PRNewswire // -- Dickey's Barbecue Pit, world's largest BBQ franchise featuring pit smoked meats, will open new Lodi location on Thursday, September 6. The first 100 customers will receive a free mouthwatering Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwich.

"I'm excited to open and to serve the Lodi community something very unique," said franchise owner Rod Cockrum. "Most Californians haven't tasted slow smoked brisket and I know once they try ours they will become addicted."

Dickey's has 20 locations open in California with plans of opening eight more this year including Temecula, San Ramon, Bakersfield, Carmichael, Sacramento, San Bruno, San Jose and Ventura.
