World's Largest Barbecue Franchise Opens Newest Texas Location

GEORGETOWN, Texas, Sept. 18, 2012 // PRNewswire // -- Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants announces the opening of its newest Texas location in Georgetown. The new location will open Thursday, September 20 and the first 100 customers will receive a free Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwich.

"Everywhere I go people show their excitement about a Dickey's Barbecue Pit opening," said franchise owner Marcos Esquivel. "Georgetown is a great family friendly community and I know they are going to love our food."

Esquivel is from Austin, Texas. Prior to owning a Dickey's Esquivel was a successful general manager for Jiffy Lube and Sprint. For years, Esquivel also excelled in performing arts and has starred in several commercials and films.

"Family is so important and my parents have supported me throughout the whole process and really helped make this dream possible. Unfortunately, I recently lost my Dad, but I know he would be so proud."
