Fazoli’s Earns Top Ratings in New Zagat Fast Food Survey

First Appearance Includes #1 Ranking for Décor/Facilities, #2 Overall and #4 for Service

LEXINGTON, Ky. - October 22, 2012 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - In its first year as a contender, Fazoli's, America's largest premium Italian quick-service restaurant chain, earned "Top-Rated Décor/Facilities" in Zagat's 2012 Fast Food Survey. Fazoli's, which is appearing for the first time in the Zagat ratings, took second place in the "Top Overall" category and fourth place for "Top-Rated Service" among chains with 100-5,000 locations.

“The Zagat rankings confirm that guests really appreciate the improvements we've made to every aspect of the Fazoli's experience," said Carl Howard, president and CEO. Fazoli's recently revamped its menu, introduced a new restaurant design, expanded its service to include meal delivery and enhanced its hospitality program.

Zagat's 2012 Fast Food Survey is based upon 10,554 voters rating 274 national restaurant chains.

“The QSR industry has become incredibly competitive,” Howard added. “To be ranked in the top five of all chains – and to earn #1 and #2 spots in our first appearance – is a tremendous honor and a real testament to our associates’ and franchisees’ hard work.”
